Dude this thing is awesome!ProsIt's hefty! It feels solid and like it won't break if I drop it.It connects from about 60 feet away through doors and walls.The temperature is as accurate as my "Meter" thermometer and it's way less expensive.I used it on Monday to monitor my chicken in my smoker. Works like a charm.It's very sleek and feels nice to the touch, if that matters to you. Lol
I received the package today, and right away I used the Typhur Sync to cook a Tomapork steak (Tomahawk pork steak) as a test.
The Sync worked absolutely fantastic, no loss of connection, connection distance is amazing, and I had a big smile on my face!
An even bigger smile after sharing the steak with my family. Together with the app I was relaxing and enjoying the European Soccer Championship. I was notified correctly about the remaining cooking time, and the Sync is absolutely reliable. Excellent product, thanks a lot! I can only recommend it!
Received mine last week and I'm using it now for brisket cook. Seems easy to use, I just wish it had a magnet on the back instead of a flimsy standup leg. this alone would be taken half a star away, I wish I could be given it 4.5 stars but it's definitely more than four so I gave it a five. I'll come back and update us at some point later if anything changes.
I purchased Typhur Sync late in 2023. I used it a few times and found it to be really easy to use and accurate. A couple of weeks ago I was using it in my smoker and had a major malfunction with the smoker. The temperature exceeded the maximum for one of the probes and it destroyed it. I wrote to Typhur to purchase a new probe and they responded without delay. A few days later my new Typhur came in the mail, replaced at no charge.
